So, it’s 12:04am. My work inboxes are still backed up, I have tons of blogging to do, and plenty of product reviews to write. Translation? After I see my five year old onto the kindergarten bus in the morning, my four year old son and I are running down to the post office to mail a package, and then I’ll drop him off at preschool, come home, and immediately throw myself into work. Then, later this afternoon, after my husband gets home, my laptop and I are heading to Panera Bread for a nice kid-free, interruption-free evening of work! Among other things, I want to look into these hot Snowmobile Calendars — what do you think?
Never underestimate the value of a security camera. Many consumers mistakenly believe that the only reason stores and other businesses install them is to protect their own merchandise. This is not entirely true. While it is true that the primary reason a security camera or two may be installed is to monitor the activity going on at a business location, they’re also often put in to help protect consumers themselves. Recently a local Walmart reported the theft of a woman’s purse to police. Thanks to their security cameras and advanced tracking system, they were able to provide pictures as well as descriptions, which in combination gave police enough info and evidence to track down the thief, recover the purse she had stolen, and then prosecute. Yay for security cameras!
