So I just logged in to blog, and got a notice that WordPress 3.0.2 is available for download. If you’re seeing this message in your dashboard, you will definitely want to go update your installation as soon as possible. Whether you blog about personal stuff, holiday gift ideas like a doctors coat, or you maintain a company or corporate blog, it’s very important to keep WordPress up to date. Most in-between-version releases offer security updates, and it goes without saying that these are of paramount importance!
Even if you’re not in the medical field, lab coats can be pretty handy to have around. They’re great for Halloween, for other events where you might want to dress up as a doctor (House-themed parties, anyone?), and even for arts and crafts with the kids. Heck, I remember my mom giving me an unused doctors coat of hers to play with when I was a kid!
Anyway, if you need lab coats or nursing uniforms, be sure to check out Medelita. They have all sorts of awesome stuff!
Based on my own experience, these are pay to blog companies that you can trust. Paid blogging is a big thing these days, and if you get involved with reputable companies, you can definitely make a nice chunk of change for yourself with it!
Do you have any to add to this list?
Increase your blog’s online exposure by pinging various services. If you use WordPress, then you’ll want to navigate to Settings > Writing, and then scroll down to the “Update Services” box and paste the following into it:
If you’re going to make blogging a hobby, a passion, or if you’re really lucky, a living, then you will definitely want to approach it the right way. Just as you wouldn’t tile your bathroom or install grow lights without the proper tools, you shouldn’t take on blogging without the right equipment. Besides a working computer, a desk (or a flat surface) and a chair of some sort, you will also want to have:
- A decent monitor — think 20″ or larger
- An ergonomic mouse — I highly recommend the Smartfish Technologies Ergomotion Laser Mouse
- An ergonomic keyboard
- Wrist splints for those sore wrists (kidding!)
