Do you like to write or share your opinion with others? Do you spend a lot of time on the internet as it is? Looking for some extra cash? Like the idea of working from home on your own time?
Blogging might be the job for you!
I’ve been getting paid to blog all summer and it has been pretty awesome. I love to write and would probably blog anyways but getting paid adds that little extra incentive to get the words out on to the page.
There are a lot of companies out there looking for writers (even with little to no experience) to blog about all kinds of stuff. I never thought I’d be making money working from home writing internet blogs but after a days job search I found a way to share my thoughts and make money at the same time.
It works out great for me, might be great for you…
Since I’ve been living at home again there has been a lot of changes around the house. My parents were getting boarder line hoarders-ish and something had to be done. So I set off to clean a room a day last week and things are looking pretty good. My household clean up got my mother motivated and now we’ve teamed up in hopes of a better house.
We’re going to add wood floors in the family room and bed rooms, fresh paint all around, title floor and new sink in the bathroom and a whole new set up in the family room. I seriously cannot wait for it to be finished but in the mean time the project calls from extra hard work on the weekends – we are not rich enough for a contractor or designer. So we are doing all the work ourselves and its been a blast so far.
We’ve been to Ikea like a dozen times this summer and know exactly what we want to get by now so the next step is figuring out if all that stuff is going to fit. What I really need is a good room designer app my the iPad.
Anyone out there know of a good one?
At first I was a little freaked out…
I always knew video chat would be a reality sometime in my life time but the whole idea seemed too Jetsons to me. Plus thinking about someone seeing my face and every move during a phone call seemed really awkward. I didn’t like that idea of talking to someone face to face through a camera. I would rather talk to someone in person.
Once I got my iPad all that changed. Apple makes everything so simple and elegant. The FaceTime App on Apple’s mobile devices are just so inviting and easy to use. Now I really enjoy talking with old friends from college I rarely see. Plus the dual camera make it easy to share things around you with your friends.
It’s weird to think that when I have kids this technology will be standard. Everyone will be video chatting for all conversations. If my kids travel to far off place, Europe like I did, or even just down the street, I will be able to have face to face contact with them at anytime. That’s mind blowing, when I went over seas I didn’t talk to my family for two weeks.
Maybe that was a good thing though…
So the new Batman movie came out and I had to see it. The girlfriend and I went last night to a 10:15 showing at the AMC Showplace 16 in Inver Grove. Bad decision seeing that it’s a three hour I have to get up for work at 6 am – four hours of sleep of awesome let me tell you.
Overall though the movie was awesome! A great way to end the Dark Knight series, even though I can’t seem to take Christian Bale seriously, especially his creepy Batman voice, I am always half expecting him to try to put a cat into an ATM machine or bust out flexing during intercourse. But that’s probably just me…
Like I said I really enjoyed the movie. Lots of good plot twists and connections to the other movies, plus all kinds of action. I was also pretty cool to see Batman get the shit kicked out of him, Hollywood is always making those super heros way to tough. Sometimes you need a good ass whopping.
Check it out if you haven’t seen it. It’s to die for… too early?
It seems like everything in California is a dream land. They have the beach, the sun, the mountains, the stars, the cities; California seems to be the core of what makes the west coast so special. It’s a great place to visit whether on a vacation or your honeymoon; no matter where you go the sun will warm your experience.
Same can be said for the infamous Orange County or O.C. to the locals and TV followers. This beautiful coastal county is not only known for its dapple in reality television but also the home to great craftsmanship and heart in many industries.
